சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதிப்பினால் பொலிவிழந்து வரும் தாஜ்மஹாலை பாதுகாக்க போர்க்கால நடவடிக்கை

எடுக்காவிட்டால், இன்னமும் ஐந்து ஆண்டுகளில், அது முற்றிலும் இடிந்து விடும் வாய்ப்புக்கள் உள்ளதாக ஆக்ரா மாநில எம்.பி ராம்ஷங்கர் கதெரியா தலைமையிலான சமூக ஆர்வலர்கள் குழு எச்சரித்துள்ளனர்.

யமுனை நதி தொடர்ந்து மாசுபட்டு வருதல், ஆக்ராவில் தொழிற்சாலைகள் பெருக்கம், சுற்றிவரவுள்ள காடுகள் அழிப்பு என்பன தாஜ்மஹால் பொலிவிழந்து வருவதற்கு முக்கிய காரணம் என முன்னரே எச்சரிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த நிலையில், கடந்த ஆண்டு தாஜ்மஹாலின் அடித்தள பகுதியில் விரிசல் ஏற்பட்டதாகவும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.

இந்நிலையில், தாஜ்மஹாலின் அடிக்கட்டுமானத்தில் மரத்தினால் ஆன அடித்தளத்தில், தொடர்ந்து அரிப்பு ஏற்பட்டு வருவதாகவும், யமுனை நதியின் மாசு மற்றும் தொழிற்சாலை கழிவுகள் என்பனவற்றினால் இந்த அரிப்பு ஏற்பட்டிருப்பதாகவும் குற்றம் சுமத்தியுள்ள குறித்த சமூக ஆர்வலர்கள், எரியும், தொல்படிவ பொருட்கள் மற்றும் தூசிகளினா, தாஜ்மஹாலின் ஆதாரமாக இருக்கும் வெள்ளை நிற சலவைக்கல், விரும்பத்தகாத மஞ்சள் நிற படிவத்திற்கு மாற்றிவிடுவதாக தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

தாஜ்மஹால் அமைந்துள்ள சூழலில் மாசுபடர்வதை குறைக்க, பஸ் மற்றும் கார்கள் அருகில் தரித்து நிற்க தடைவிதிக்கப்படுவதுடன், 2கி.மீ தொலைவில் நிறுத்திவைத்துவிட்டு, மின்சார பஸ்கள் அல்லது குதிரை வண்டிகள் மூலம் தாஜ்மகாலுக்கு அருகில் சுற்றுலாபயணிகள் வருவதற்கு வசதிகள் மேற்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது.

1983ம் ஆண்டு முதல் யுனெஸ்கோவின உலகின் தொன்மை மிக்க வரலாற்று சின்னங்களில் ஒன்றாக தாஜ்மஹால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

358 ஆண்டுகாலத்திற்கு முன்னர், மன்னன் சாஜகான் உருவாக்கிய தாஜ்மஹால் நினைவு சின்னத்தை பார்வையிட ஆண்டுதோறும் நான்கு மில்லியன் சுற்றுலா பயணிகள் அங்கு வருகை தருவது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
