Task '12

                         'To create a change'

             After brain storming discussions about the creation of our team(which is going to deal with social activities)  , a team  was formed under the name of 'Task 12'(as annouced in class).

         The word 'Task' means 'a small work to be done' or 'to make great demands on something'. And 12 indicates the year in which this team is started and also this team is going to work on the following 12 ideas,
                   1.To change the mindset of the people in few aspects
                   2.Self Development
                   3.To leave our foot print
                   4.Discipline
                   5.Going with Environment
                   6.Leadership
                   7.To emerge as a socially responsible 
                   8.To create a SPARK
                   9.To make useful out of waste
                   10.To service the needs
                   11.Conservation.
 and the remaining 1 is yet to be decided and           
               The motto  'to create a change ' was coined since it's aimed to create a small and remarkable  change in our living. And also if we want to create a change,we should change ourselves,i.e., 'BE THE CHANGE'.We the team, believe that by changing ourselves,definitely the people around us will also have an positive change.

          

Basic habits that a team members should have:

          1.Should take food thrice a day.

          2.Should know National Anthem correctly.

          3.Use of bubble gums should be avoided as it has an greater disadvantage.

          4.Do not litter in public.

        It's happy to see that few started following and we are expecting all to do this.

           To be honor, when this plan  was said to our department staff Mr.Sakthivel and Mr.Senthil Kumar(HOD),and few other are ready to support us and they had a great pleasure and they encouraged us.Thanks to them.

      

    And finally, 

" This team is not going to do big activities but we are confident that this will have big achievements by creating a positive change".

Report:

1. Energy conservation programme as what we did last year with tremondous work for about 1and half months

2. The second and biggest activity of this team is to change ourselves right from improving our discipilne,knowledge,avoiding plastics as how much  as possible,saving electricity etc...

3.We are marching  to our self -development in case of improving our communication skills for which we are going to spend a little bit of time  in evening hours (one day per week) after 4.50pm.
      * As per this plan,a session was held  on14.9.12 especially for boys and this team members had a great response for everyone who attended the session.
     *Second session held on  21.9.12.
     *awaiting for upcoming sessions.

4.The team's fourth activity was to make a small report on FDI in retail Sector and it was made before the targeted date.The editors of this report are K.K.Anand Kumar,A.R.HariKrishnan,K.Arunadevi,Kausalya

5.We the 'Game Changing Utopians' as per our 8 task,are collecting the plastic covers that were given along with record sheets in our college Depot and our target is to collect 2000 covers within this semester and collected around 2500 covers by now.

6. A general body meeting was held on 12.10.12 along with second years to refresh the basic motto of the team and going towards the target and not behind the target.

7.We have ordered around 30 dustbins(under college management) which has to be placed in our campus to promote discipline and its on progress.

Hereby ,the team members are  requested to bring your ideas whichever that sticks to our motto.
