                                          PAN card explained...!!!

PAN is a 10 digit alpha numeric number, where the first 5 characters are letters, the next 4 numbers and the last one a letter again.
These 10 characters can be divided in five parts as can be seen below.
The meaning of each number has been explained further.

1. First three characters are alphabetic series running from AAA to ZZZ

2. Fourth character of PAN represents the status of the PAN holder.
• C — Company
• P — Person
• H — HUF(Hindu Undivided Family)
• F — Firm
• A — Association of Persons (AOP)
• T — AOP (Trust)
• B — Body of Individuals (BOI)
• L — Local Authority
• J — Artificial Juridical Person
• G — Government

3. Fifth character represents first character of the PAN holder’s last name/surname.

4. Next four characters are sequential number running from 0001 to 9999.

5. Last character in the PAN is an alphabetic check digit.

Nowadays, the DOI (Date of Issue) of PAN card is mentioned at the right (vertical) hand side of the photo on the PAN card.

5. Albert Einstein :
Albert Einstein was one of the greatest of all physicists and his name has become a symbol of genius. When his most famous work, the General Theory Of Relativity was proven in 1919, Einstein became the most celebrated scientist in the world and he won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 192 1. Einstein was a firm believer in pacifism but his scientific theories helped his adopted country, the USA, to develop the atomic bomb. A week before he died Einstein wrote to Bertrand Russell, a British Philosopher and leading antinuclear campaigner, asking to put his name to a manifesto urging all countries to give up their nuclear weapons.

6. Mahatma Gandhi :

8. Charles Darwin :

Naturalist Charles Darwin established the theory of evolution. He began forming his ideas when he served as official naturalist on a world voyage on HMS Beagle (1831 – 36) and spent the rest of his life back in England developing them. When his famous book The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selections was published in 1859, there were violent reactions against it. THE OTHER SIDE OF INDIA

A SUBSTITUTE
CAN  WE MAKE THIS?

We the literate people of Indian community can understand very well that there are millions of beggars in our respected country who deserves everyday for the basic necessities like food at least twice in a day, clothes to cover because they are unfortunately born unlucky. Mostly, they will be lying down on the roadsides with their arms stretched towards us or the beggars will be with hand child gently knocking the vehicle windows for coins with a belief that we will drop them something. As this statics of undeserved keeps on increasing, the facts which adds fuel to the fire are some cruel beggars give heroine or alcohol to the cute hand child to remain asleep, few make the cute to cry and few rob the new born fresh buddies from hospitals to use for begging just to make money to survive. For instance, I am continuously noticing a this kind of woman in a bus stand for the past 3 years and she could earn 50-60rs per day because she appears pity and so by now she could have earned 55,000rs (approx) but we are not sure that every single rupee was spent for her since it has a share to the brutal agents too. A solution for this worsening fact can be by providing beggars with direct snack packets even may costing 10-20rs instead of coins since it cannot be misused. So, let us donate them something other than direct cash and if some demand us only money, please let us neglect this condition. Few may think that getting snack for them is difficult but if we are determined,it is possible. Herewith, Task’12 from final EEE kindly requests everybody to make the new kind of practice as a little part to make India shine.

rio de janeiro solar tower(olympics)

This vertical structure will be placed in Cotonduba Island. It will be both a observation Tower, and a welcome sign for the visitors arriving by air and by sea at Rio de Janeiro, where the Olympic Games 2016 will take place.

The project is from Zurique, and utilizes solar energy during the day with its solo power panels, to pump the sea water as seen in the model. The movement of the water will be also utilized to turn the turbines and produce the power to work the system at night time.

What is real power and reactive power?

We had a question asked by our faculty about real and reactive power.

The answer can be explained with vector mathematics or phase-shift sinewave graphs.

but I think visiting the link below is very useful

How choke works?

There are two filaments, one at each end of the tube.

Light is emitted only when the gas inside the tube is ionized.

For that very high voltage is needed.

But once the gas is ionized, the voltage can be reduced to a great extent for the normal operation of the tube light.

The purpose of the choke is to provide a very high voltage initially between the filaments (across the two ends of the tube light).

Again once the gas in the tube is ionized the choke provides a low voltage.

A choke is a coil of wire. When the current through it made to on and off very frequently, every time the current is zero, a back voltage is produced between the ends of the coil. The value of the back voltage is high if the frequency of the on and off operation is made frequently.

This is achieved by the use of the starter. The starter switches on and off the current through the choke frequently. A very high back voltage is formed between the ends of the choke and hence between the two ends of the tube.

This high voltage ionizes the gas.

The starter will continue to function till the time the gas is ionized.

Once the gas is ionized, there being an easy path for the current to flow between the two filaments, there will be no current through the starter. The starter stops functioning.

Since the starts stops functioning, no more high voltage is across the choke.
And the voltage across the choke (and between the filaments) is very much reduced.

This is the function of a choke.
